The low point of my weekend happened a few hours ago when my iphone was stolen...and it was only 20 days old...I was pretty upset, mostly because I had a big brainstorm session on the postings for Off White this week. I can remember 3 of 5 that I typed up with my handy squarespace app. I also surely missed a call from a V.I.B. (Very Important Bride), sorry Jen, check your email...
Thanks to Marc, Max, and Kevin who missed the last three minutes of the Superbowl running around the financial district trying to find the thief. I have great friends.
I know it's a silly loss when you think of the things that other people are going through in the world right now. I hope the lady who stole my phone is at least happy to have the money from selling it. And I hope she does something good with the money. Maybe wishful thinking...
Ok, enough wallowing...back to regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. Thanks for reading, you are all appreciated.

Ok, So I am SUPER excited about this event happening at India Rose in Brisbane, CA this Saturday. If you live in the Bay Area please come join us. We'll be making wreaths for hours and hours! If you are not familiar with India Rose, you should be. Their home decor boutique is awesome, I would like for my apartment to look like the main room of this store...also, you'll find some India Rose's products at Anthropologie... just so you get an idea of the style of the lovely owner and chief designer, Carter.
Where: India Rose 433 Visitation Ave, Brisbane, CA (justa few miles South of San Francisco)
When: Saturday December 12th, 2-5pm
R.S.V.P./Contact: RSVP here or at offwhitewedding@gmail.com or India Rose 415-330-9109
Price/What you get: $9 for materials/take home the wreath that you make!
India Rose was really sweet to put my name on the flier since I am just a little blogger in the big www :) So please come on down, we'd love to meet you. This is the first of hopefully many workshops we'll be doing in 2010, your feedback is appreciated for any subject you'd like to learn about in this beautiful space:

Post Script please don't brand me as being paid to plug this (I don't do that...it's against my religion :)), I just genuinely love this place and plus I love crafts, the perfect combo! xoxo.

I would love to design and style an event inspired by these two photos.

The model is 20 year old Catie Brier. When I first met her about 4 years ago, I was incredibly intrigued by her profession. She is a contortionist.
In addition to my obsession with weddings...I am also a film student and for the final short film of the Fall semester I asked Catie if I could do a short documentary on her. We wrapped shooting this week and I am now in post-production aka editing. I am sooooo excited.
When I saw this photo on JL Designs, taken at an event for wedding professionals...

I was inspired to plug the lovely contortionist of my film, how neat it would be to have such talented performers at a wedding!
p.s. Catie is going for an audition at Teatro ZinZanni (a must-see if you're ever in SF...dinner and cirque!) this Monday, send your happy thoughts her way!
