It's a Beautiful Life.

Sorry I've been gone, I can explain...later.
But a few things have been on my mind...
These laterns from India Rose are amazing!
I love She and Him's new album: listen here (p.s. thanks NPR)
Can I justify wearing this dress to 2 weddings? Totally different crowds at each wedding so no one will know. But…FB pics....
I am obsessed with this nail color. I walked all the way to Saks to get it. I was nervous about going as I was not dressed very nicely (Sloppy jeans, cardigan and flip flops, day old hair...yuck). But I was beyond floored at how genuinely nice everyone was (and I am usually pretty good at spotting a fake).
My brother is dating a genius and she got into medical school. Go Maggie!
A dear friend is back in the Bay Area from living far, far away. He is an amazing wedding cinematographer and getting married soon. I can't wait to introduce him to you!
I am reading The Romantics by Galt Niederhoffer. It's generally about a wedding but the book is more emo, less light and fluffy i.love.it. I am excited to see the film version (the cast looks fantastic). It's kinda unique and cool that the author of the book is also the Director of the movie.
Confession: I used to, at all costs, avoid telling people that I am from Marin County. It's silly but usually when I tell people they would be "ooooooooh...." with eye brows raised and then they'd stop talking to me. I am a fan of this FB page and that kinda sums it up. But lately I have re-fallen in love with my homeland just North of the GG Bridge (although still incredibly loyal to my true love, San Francisco). I would like to write a City Guide for Design Sponge (perhaps a certain someone would like to collabo with me on this? ;) ), my hands down favorite restaurants are all there and their are tons of great and unique shopping spots.
